From childhood to Cameleon HR: let’s talk about your background

When I was younger, I wanted to be a vet, I wanted to save all the animals in need. The problem is that I run away as soon as I see blood or a wound!

Life has led me to have more than one career because I love to explore and learn. Through my atypical career path, I discovered that I loved listening to people, and their stories, I wanted to make a real difference. So recruiting was a natural fit for me: it was love at first sight.

What is your role at Cameleon HR?

I would summarize my role as a jack-of-all-trades. I am fortunate to be able to adapt my role to the needs of the company and our clients. This can be done by supporting the team, clients, and candidates, by recruiting, by strategic discussions, studying the latest trends, by coaching… in short, there are numerous possibilities! This is what drives me in my daily life to want to make a real difference.

What makes you passionate about recruitment?

People. We are here to make a difference. For the right reasons. We are facilitators for both clients and candidates. I really feel like I’m contributing to their happiness in some way.

What is your definition of a good candidate experience?

Be present for our candidates throughout the process. Listen to their needs, understand what drives them. Ensure that the company matches their values, that the person will feel fulfilled by the role. Facilitate the transition for the person, make sure that everything goes well throughout the integration. In short, offer support at each step of the process.

What aspects of your job make you feel proud?

Making a difference to people, even when it’s small. Sometimes it’s by helping someone find a new job that will give them a new lease on life, sometimes it’s by inspiring people to reflect. It’s also about our clients finding the right person to help them move forward. It’s seeing our team grow and flourish. There are so many moments that make me proud of what we accomplish.

In a world without recruitment, what would you have done instead?

I would probably have an animal shelter.

What motto do you live by?

There are always solutions.
